What the Surgeons Need - PART 4


Remember ALWAYS, there is no pill for a mechanical problem. You need a diagnosis for biomechanical pathology and you need a manual “hands on” intervention to fix it!  That is what we do, right? Our biggest barrier as a profession though, is most chiropractors don't know how to explain that and I'll tell you, I've been out 20 years and I was really never taught that in school, EVER!  That was something that I figured out because I had a lot of medical providers that were friends with me and pushed me to be able to explain it. That explanation and the resources for that is really what I do on a consulting basis. And in fact, it's what I do to build my practice on a day to day basis. In conclusion, when it comes to the surgeon understanding that it's too expensive for them to run a practice that manages mechanical spine, that's why they need you, but they need you in a format that they're comfortable with. They're going to focus on your diagnostic credentials. Do you have advanced training in MRI spine interpretation, spinal biomechanics, trauma and triage?  Do you READ your own MRI films and consult with the surgeon or just merely depend on the report?  All of course to help you learn are found at
