hello bill,

quick question,  I have recently used an admin approach to meet with a doctors office on Monday this week and got an opportunity to meet the doctor.

this thursday I dropped off my CV and we have since recieved 2 referrals for PI patients

what is the next step as far as correspondence?

Send the binder, send single page interprofessional flyer or just make sure to drop in each two week and make sure I get my reports out for the referrals on time?

-thots?

MY RESPONSE

YEAH!  Great work...

Ok, if you are getting referrals switch to communicating LIVE and move to making sure you give reports to them.  That is key.  If for some reason they do not want them, they will tell you.  With offices that are referring switch them to visit every 5-6 weeks to make sure they have referral cards.  Make sure the patient comes to YOU before anyone else especially the PCP.  When the patient has their PCP check up, make sure you remind them to tell them that you are treating…REMIND THEM AWAYS both patient and PCP to stay in front of them.

REPORTS ON TIME IS KEY!
