Once you build your MD database, the best place is, you need to start communicating the program.  My office uses the following script.

Good MORNING/EVENING.This is [STAFF MEMBER NAME] from Dr. Owens’ office. We are part of a national effort to promote cooperative spine care in the {insert your area here} WNY AREA by bringing relevant and current research to area doctors. I was wondering if Dr. _____ is a primary care doctor or a specialist? Thank you so much for you help. I will be in your area in the next few days to drop off some research for the office but I want to make sure that I dont stop by during peak patient hours.  What would be the best time?

Understanding the MDs specialty is going to be paramount to the flow of research. We are going to tailor research reviews to specific specialties. The foundation of your MD marketing plan is your MD database and it has to be accurate and organized. The effort that you put in over the next week will determine if things are easy or difficult in the future.
